ACCESSIBLE DIAGONAL
A redesign of the iconic Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe, reimagined as an accessible home for a retired couple—one of whom has reduced mobility. The project introduces the concept of the “Accessible Diagonal”, a design strategy that reorients the layout to prioritize universal accessibility, without losing the minimalist and modernist essence of the original architecture. Key interventions include wider circulation paths, accessible furniture and storage, a reconfigured bathroom, and a family-friendly terrace. Through thoughtful planning and adapted materials, this project merges inclusive functionality with timeless architectural elegance.

A coffee table design inspired by the visual language of El Lissitzky’s PROUN works—geometric compositions that merge painting, architecture, and space exploration. The piece reinterprets curves, trapezoids, and circles from a selected PROUN artwork, evoking the sensation of a form suspended in abstract space. This project explores the relationship between structure and balance, transforming two-dimensional Suprematist ideals into a three-dimensional functional object that blurs the boundaries between design and art.
