SOL Y SOMBRA
A parametric structure designed to provide shade and comfort in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol during the summer. The project blends functionality and aesthetics, inspired by the interplay of light and shadow. It features a wavy perforated canopy that casts dynamic light patterns, trees and greenery for natural cooling, and curved benches for rest and relaxation. Intended for tourists, locals, and public activities, the design respects key urban elements like kiosks, sculptures, and metro access, transforming the square into a more livable, shaded, and social public space.

Available as table, ceiling, or floor models, they combine sustainability, easy assembly, and a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Made from cardboard in different thicknesses (2, 5, and 8 mm) and paired with colored textile cables, these lamps aim to transform everyday spaces with accessible and eco-conscious design.
